Sairam Dental Care had a fun and rewarding weekend yesterday, when we departed early morning to hold a dental camp in Tandi, Chitwan, Nepal.

Project aim: 

The aim of the project is to provide an educational dental approach to children and curative dental treatments to adult and seniors.

Educational value of project: 

The educational value of the project is to educate the children the proper way of maintaining oral hygiene and for adult and seniors how to take care of oral health and why early dental treatment should be done to be free from dental pain and relation between oral health and general health.

Project conclusion: 

Sairam Dental Care had a fun and rewarding weekend yesterday, when we departed early morning to hold a dental camp in Tandi, Chitwan. The camp saw over 200 patients primarily from slums of Tandi. We performed 33 extractions, 35 scaling and 27 composite restorations to the needy patients. We also gave out free medicines to the patients. The children in the camp were also provided with brushing kit to encourage oral hygiene.
