Free Dental Camp for poor and deprived people of chitwan, Nepal was conducted on 5th september 2017.

Project aim: 

The aim of the free dental camp is to provide curative treatment to all group age people living in a slum area near Ganeshsthan Temple, Chitwan Nepal.

Project funding: 

The project was funded by Sai Ram Dental Care, the place selection and campaigning were done by Rotary Club Of Chitwan.

Educational value of project: 

 Almost all of them have dental decays and gum diseases, in addition, most of them have pre-malignant soft tissue changes in the mouth due to local habit of chewing a tobacco, betel nut, and smoking. So we educate them about the importance of oral health and also about Oral Cancer.

At camp, we examined 125 patients, 50 scaling and polishing, 32 restorations and 31 extractions were done besides that we provided free medicines to all of them. Patients were very poor and living in a slum area near Ganeshsthan temple.
